Long Range (LoRa) is a spread spectrum modulation technology designed for Low-Power Wide-Area Networking (LPWAN) with growing application in Internet of Things (IoT), which plays an important role the global digitalization process. The expansion LORAWAN networks demands careful circuit, system and network design to improve energy efficiency quality service. To support this task, advanced CAD tools can offer reliable simulations results, where effects building blocks be found. LoRaSim, one most popular simulators available LoRa LoraWan, had solely implemented ALOHA access model protocol, not common protocol real life scenarios. mitigate limitation taking advantage open-source nature both LoRaWAN it proposed Carrier Sense Multiple Access/ Collision Avoidance (CSMA/CA) extension, as well active adaptive parameters selection cope collisions. demonstrate effectiveness these additions base solution, comparison between on different scenarios their simulated performance key indicators will presented.
